Oct 8, 2022 · I had exact same issue with an iPod Touch 4th Gen that I was trying to restore and was stuck in a "in DFU then not in DFU" loop in iTunes. Loading an older version of iTunes (11.1.2) on another machine allowed me to recover the iPod. Current version of iTunes also appears to have removed the relevant drivers for the device.

Dec 8, 2010 · the ipod nano probably uses a better DAC. I know that ipod video 5.5 has the best sound of the ipod classic line.. If you want good sound I would get an ipod classic 5.5 (It's an enhanced ipod video, came out in late 2006). Lots of sellers on ebay have upgraded them to new batteries and hard drives. You can get a 80 gb or 120 gb for around $120.

May 2, 2019 · The iPod hardware is fine as it still works with the old HDD sometimes. The SSD has been tested and is fine. The mSATA to ZIF adapter board is the only other thing that could be busted, but this is my second one having assumed that to be the problem at first and still nothing.
