Jul 12, 2020 · This was not my problem, The problem was that I don't hear a ringing sound when I call somebody. After I dial the number there is no sound until they answer. I did find out that it only happens on certain numbers that were Spectrum land line numbers.

Looking at the support page I posted (section "Use another app while on a call", point #2) it says "To return to the call, tap the green call indicator at the top of the screen". You're right, this could be better explained in detail, as the situation varies depending on the iPhone model you are using.

Dec 2, 2012 · When I try to make a phonecall, either by dialling the number or by picking a number from my contact's list, I immediately get "Call Ended". My iPhone doesn't even start dialling the number. This is usually fixed (temporarily) by rebooting the phone.

Starting with iOS 18.1, users can record phone calls on iPhones using Siri, While on a call, tap the call recording button in the top left corner of the screen. Siri will notify everyone on the call that the call is being recorded.
