Any other newer iPad model from late 2015 can be upgraded to the latest iPadOS 16.1.1. At this late stage, use of a Mac or Windows PC may be unavoidable.

Nov 1, 2023 · If Netflix cannot be supported for iOS 15, either Apple should provide iOS 16 or should provide older version of Netflix that works with 15. It is unfair that you are forcing people to update when hardware and rest of apps working fine and just decided that you will not support it.

Nov 6, 2022 · The 2014 iPad Air 2 is at the end of Apple's full support life at iPadOS 15.7.1. Sorry. That stated, third party app support will still continue for another 2-3 years, or so, until ALL third party app support will, eventually, come to its end. So, you can keep using your 2014 iPad Air 2 for another 2-3 before considering another new iPad model.
