Aug 17, 2022 · I have my Zumo XT plugged into a cigarette lighter type outlet on the dash which is corrected directly to the battery through a wire fed under the tank and always on. If Zumo is turned off, there is minimal drain, certainly no issue for several days. If zumo is left on, not an issue for a few hours at least.

Sep 2, 2021 · I have installed a Zumo XT on mine. I used the Garmin cradle that came with it, installing that on a ball mount attached to the brake fluid reservoir. I ran the power cable back to the rear of the bike and attached it to the EZ-Can that I installed. I have it set to shut down the ZumoXT 90 seconds after I power off the bike.

Jul 5, 2021 · I do remove my Zumo XT from the bike when parked, and at home in the garage because I like to critique the day's run and import/export new runs. The internal battery in the XT is at least as robust as an iPhone when it's fully charged. On the bike, the Zumo runs thru a fuse block with a 3A fuse in addition to the inline.

Jul 11, 2023 · Switch off the Zumo XT - ie hold in the power button until the screen shows the Red Off Button, and press that. Have owned Zumo 550, 660 == Now have Zumo XT2, XT, 595, 590, Headache Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !
