Jan 13, 2019 · Historically these helmets were created with a focus on protection, and thus they didn't care much about, even disregarding, the hearing aspect of the wearer, and thus apart from noise reduction they are worn tightly snug on the head, with no space for external comms set (hence the integrated comms).
