Sep 21, 2024 · Why is Hisuian Zorua sad? Essentially, in ancient times, Unovan Zorua were shunned by the people of Unova so they migrated to Hisui. However, due to the harsh conditions of the region, they all died, but their vengeful spirits manifested into the Ghost/Normal Pokemon that will appear in the game.

Shinies don't usually show as shiny on the map, but when it's a Zorua copying your buddy it does. So if it's shiny before you even click on the pokemon on the map ( which might require looking closely at the colours ) then it's Zorua.
