Following Pete's death, the season continues the story of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his group of survivors, who must take a step back from the violence they've come to embrace, as multiple threats lead them to adopt a mindset of hardness.

It is the seventy-seventh episode of the series overall. It premiered on February 21, 2016. It was written by Angela Kang & Corey Reed and directed by Kari Skogland. A seemingly simple scavenging run proves to be very tricky when our group isn't the only one vying for an unexpected supply goldmine.

This season premiere closes up with an aerial shot of a massive herd of zombies threatening to kill Rick and/or his group, just like the ending of the pilot/season premiere of Season 1.
