Mar 7, 2006 · To be completely honest my hair did not look as bad as it did on camera. However, Zix has made my hair much darker and thicker all over and my scalp is also in great health too. I never get the typical itchy, inflamed, flaking scalp that I often read about on these forums. Maybe that's due to 'Head and Shoulders', 'Zix' or both.

This shedding may be happen because I was covering my hair with a hat during the whole summer (since june 2016) when I go outside so the sun or wind won't hurt my scalps and I remove the hat a week before I start the zix, may be a it's a coincidence.

Jan 20, 2020 · Interesting that you bring that up. My theory is actually that Zix work via another mechanism than 5AR inhibition. I also do not believe that the Zix creator is some brilliant guy who is an expert regarding hair loss but that Zix was simply a lucky shot.

Jan 26, 2020 · So a standard solution of 60 mls of zix contains 3 x 220 mgs zinc. So 660 mgs of zinc in total and 150 mgs of B6. So 1ml contains 11mg of zinc and 2,5 mgs of B6. One application of zix uses about 2 ml to cover the head. That means if you only apply zix once a day you get (if everything gets into the bloodstream) 22 mgs of zinc and 5 mgs of B6.
