Aug 31, 2017 · To register as a student, you can start from Zipcar website for UCI. After verification of driver’s license, your Zipcard will be mailed to you. Once you have your Zipcard, you can borrow cars from Zipcar designated parking lots. Your zipcard acts as the key for locking and unlocking cars.

Sep 11, 2022 · If you have a license, you can sign up for Zipcar, which is a car-sharing program. Since I'm cheap, I use the OCTA instead. The 79 is the only OCTA route serving UCI that operates on weekends, and it's quite good; you can go to Fashion Island and the surrounding area without a transfer.
