Feb 5, 2021 · Honestly, you can build how you like. But with Jade spear better to go with Burst dps. Physical build relying on Crescent Pike which outdone Jade spear on higher R. So make him shield/ ultimate spammer. Recommending: hp% sands, geo goblet and crit damage hat

I think the Lithic Spear will only really shine at R5, full Liyue team and artifacts built for crit considering Zhongli doesn't naturally scale well in either rates or dmg in that department. And that's honestly asking a lot when the damage is relatively comparable to VV and SoH at R0 with HP and/or ATK build along most of the journey.

Sandwiched between xiangling and xiao. If you want to run physical zhongli, it will be a slightly uphill battle against these 2 competitors. If you dont care about comparisons, anything is game. He provides CC though. That cant be powercreeped.

Feb 24, 2021 · Both weapons are good, you’re just getting fomo on the newest shiny thing available on the game, and that’ll happen each time they release something new. I also pulled for Jade Spear knowing full well that SoH will also be good for Zhongli, but that was simply because I also liked the other weapon in Jade Spear’s banner.

This is further compounded by how there is a better spear for zhongli in every scenario: For ult spam, skyward is better For AA main dps, pike is better For Hybrid, PWJS is better For bruiser, homa is better Even purely as a shieldbot, black tassel is better Imo, Vortex was clearly developed with making zhongli a bruiser in mind.

I don't know how but I got him after 20 pulls with zero pity. My last pull was Xiao. I have somehow managed to win the 50/50 twice now. I got my Itto guaranteed. Won 50/50 for Xiao and then zhongli on 20 pity. I also got Beidou and Xingqiu in the same pull as Zhongli. Best pull ever. Not sure where this luck came from.

Dec 23, 2020 · Hi everyone! So with the free ascension fates on Standard, I just got the 5* Primordial Jade Spear. Since I run Zhongli a lot on my main team, this was pretty awesome! My question is, I'm currently running Favonious Lance on him to get the Ult spam going.
