In the game, these teachings can be learned by the Nameless One (the player's character) by unlocking secrets from The Unbroken Circle of Zerthimon , a stone disc Dak'kon carries and which serves as his religious text and origin story for the githzerai.

All of it made me thinking that Orpheus was originally meant to be some mighty githzerai - maybe even Zerthimon himself, as his fate is oficially unknown, and we already meet legendary figures like Vlaakith and Balduran. That would be still logical why Vlaakith wishes him imprisoned/dead, as githzerai and githyanki are in constant war.

The problem would seem to be entirely down to a preconception that modern gamers want games like Halo rather than Planescape - pretty but mindless and that nothing else could appeal to the mass market.

Oct 20, 2020 · Specifically, I'm uncertain whether or not the blade will simply change when Dak'kon's morale gets high enough or if the blade's form is locked in once you complete the Unbroken Circle of Zerthimon (i.e. if it doesn't change into the Streaming Blade once you've done the Circle, you're out of luck).
