ZEN Microscopy Software - ZEISS Vision Care
ZEN software provides a comprehensive end-to-end solution for any microscopy user, continuously evolving to address emerging life science applications with added features, e.g., automated smart acquisition, intuitive image analysis, and cloud-based data management.
ZEISS ZEN lite
Download ZEN lite, your free copy of the powerful ZEN microscopy software. Use ZEN lite as a viewer for your CZI files or other standard file types. Perform image acquisition or fundamental image analysis and processing tasks.
Get Started with ZEN (blue edition) - ZEISS Vision Care
You will work with the latest versions of ZEN (blue edition) and Axiocam digital microscopy cameras to learn how to perfectly acquire digital images and how to process and how to save them.
ZEN Blue is used for Zeiss widefield microscopes and cameras, but it also happens to be better at exporting from the Zeiss CZI file format to TIF. For most users we recommend that you choose ZEN
The ZEISS ZEN Blue software is designed around a set of powerful image analysis tools that can serve as building blocks for generating measurement tables, searching for rare morphological events, or even directing the image acquisition itself.
ZEN (blue edition) is a modular image acquisition, processing and analysis software for digital microscopy. The abbreviation ZEN stands for ZEISS Efficient Navigation

Zeiss’ future plans will have all their instruments running ZEN Blue. The primary advantage of ZEN Blue for users is that it is the better of the two for exporting images. While it is possible to export CZI files to TIF using ZEN Black, ZEN Blue is much more flexible.
In ZEN Blue, switch to the Analysis tab. Open an image; native CZI-format images are preferred, but not necessary. The chosen image should be one that will be analyzed with the new program.
