The ZB-30 and ZB-30J were Czechoslovakian light machine guns that saw extensive use during World War II. The Zb 30 and Zb 30J were the later versions of the famous Czechoslovak machine gun, the ZB-26. Sep 4, 2023 · From what I understand they are similar to the bren semi auto. I just am unsure of the spring clearance and striker design due to the lock up positions of the zb compared to the bren. Zb looks like has less room when locked and carrier will probably need to have some material removed.

Jan 30, 2024 · Just heads up, biggest thing with the ZB builds are finding barrels. The ZB26/ZB30/ZB30J barrels are all different in terms of gas ports and extractor cut outs. The current ZB30J kits that are available do not have barrels and the last ZB30J barrel I saw sold for $2k+.

Definitely 1930s Czech production..."BRNO" (in Cyrillic) clearly visible. Given its Very good condition, it may have been either or Both German/Chetnik/Titoist Used, and then refurbished and placed in "Strategic Store".

Nov 15, 2019 · Actually the ZB26 and ZB30J are the same (LOWER MOUNTED TUBE)--- the ZB30 is the (HIGHER MOUNTED TUBE). The internal parts are the same ( except the front bumper and spring rod) and you can mount a ZB30 buttstock on a ZB30J/ZB26 lower frame and I imagine vise versa.
