May 16, 2023 · 35s are gonna rub when turning without lift or modifications. 295/70-18 these are 1/4” less diameter than a 35 And 3/4” narrower. They’re on 9” wide wheels with +1 offset. Fit great with a 1-3/4” level kit/UCAs and no rubbing. Very nice. I’m running same exact wheel & tire setup, except w/ 1.5” leveling kit.

Jan 26, 2024 · ZR2 aero and tires take a toll. My ZR2 diesel is sitting at 22mpg overall, and 24-28mpg highway depending on conditions. Strong headwind or pushing 75+ will take that to 20 or below. Has all the aero of a barn door.

Feb 10, 2020 · I think the consensus has been that you can run 35s, but really need to regear (probably 4.56) to turn them efficiently. I think I remember that @G2SKIER ran stock gears with his 35s until they failed and then regeared - maybe he can confirm.

May 30, 2024 · Running 35s on my 2023 ZR2 with no trimming or rubbing (even compressed). I have the R&D Test Fit 3” lift from Sport Truck USA (Zone, BDS, etc). The kit on mine is being released as a Zone product I believe.

Jul 13, 2022 · Curious how the angles look as that is effectively a 4” lift from a normal T1. Congrats, looks great. However this is dark ash, not black. Your Truck looks awesome! Dec 16, 2023 · Chevy calls the ZR2 Bison tires 35s, but they are really 34.4s, so not going full 35” may be okay. Talk to experts who sell tires and have actually installed them.

Oct 15, 2019 · Best way to 35s are 6" suspension and 2" body lift. Unfortunately you run into weak as **** idler arms, tie rods, ball joints. the RC 2.5" will kill your IFS rather quickly, a 5"/6" would help with that but its just not designed to handle 35s.

Aug 15, 2023 · My ZR2 is on King 2.5 coilovers and doesn’t need a lift kit on 35’s (but does use all the other stuff listed above, plus more). Have fun fucking up your truck on 35’s with no mods.
