Feb 6, 2011 · I tend to think it's personal preference. The WJ is the 2nd (or 3rd) generation Grand Cherokee depending on your standards. The 96-98 ZJ and the 99-00 WJ pretty much the same under the skin. The early ZJ's, 93-95 use the older computer (not OBD II) and have some other mechanical differences. Take a look at the FAQ section for some of this info.
