Jun 20, 2023 · You'll need the front axle, transfer case, driveshafts, back part of the transmission, shifter and linkage for the transfer case from a 4WD. And maybe some other stuff too. Look for a rear ended or side hit zj, swap all the drive train, shifters and console. I did this many years ago.

Notes: Axles from 2wd vehicles had 28 spline axles, but still can be converted to 35/40 splines. Identified by: A removable third member and stamped sheet metal housing without removable diff cover.
