The Zilog Z80000 is an unreleased 32-bit processor designed by Zilog and completed in 1986. The Z80000 is a 32-bit expansion of the 16-bit Zilog Z8000 with multiprocessing capability, a six-stage instruction pipeline , and a 256-byte cache .

A 32 bit follow-up called the Z80,000 has been designed in 1984 with very advanced features for that time (on-chip cache and on-chip paged memory management unit), as well as the Z8070 Floating Point Co-processor.

The Zilog Z8000 is a 16-bit microprocessor architecture designed by Zilog and introduced in early 1979. Two chips were initially released, differing only in the width of the address bus; the Z8001 had a 23-bit bus while the Z8002 had a 16-bit bus.

This allowed ZiLOG to sell Z8601 dies that had faulty ROMs. This practice is still common today with multicore CPUs and/or various cache sizes. The Z8671 was a Z8 with an on-board BASIC interpreter and debugger. The Z8675 added a power down function though I have not actually seen one.
