Rear suspension (Disassembly) is standard semi-trailing arm design. Only the toe is adjustable on both front and rear. Many 300ZXs have problems with excessive negative camber in the rear. This can be fixed in a variety of ways: Bending control arms: Not ideal, but it does work. Motorsport Auto camber kits: No longer available.

Sep 25, 2011 · The Z31 suffers from a rear suspension design that has a) squat issues b) extreme negative camber when lowered c) snap over steer. Squat can be overcome with items from the above post. Snap oversteer can be countered with a combination of suspension upgrades improved skill on your part.

Mar 13, 2011 · The rear bars purpose is to locate and secure the rear mounts of the subframe. For install, the bar is mounted to the Z31 chassis, aligning with the OEM differential mount studs. As pictured above, two CNC machined steel "spikes" extend from the rear bar.
