To be honest if Yuuta continue to be the main character, JJK wouldn't be as exciting While JJK 0 was a good movie, it was too typical of a shounen. Like you never really felt like Yuuta was going to die, he was so OP that he could heal all his friends wounds and everything.

Aug 28, 2021 · JJK handles OP characters incredibly well, and the way Yuta is set up in the main series makes him intimidating at first and then really kind after the reveal that he’s on Gojo’s side. But in volume 0, Yuta isn’t handled nearly as great in my eyes since he’s a main protagonist.

JJK 0 was a one shot, and had a much more “classic shonen” format. Our protagonist was suddenly thrust into the world of sorcery, trained for a short time, fought an opponent much stronger than him, and won with the power of love, with almost no negative consequences.
