Mar 4, 2025 · Since wild things named "Chevette" are being discussed, here's a photo of the 1964 McKee MK1 Chevette, complete with a midship V8. It was raced by a friend of my father, Dick Doane, who owned a high volume Chevy and specifically Corvette dealership in Dundee, Illinois. GM used the dealership as a skunkworks team to develop the Grand Sports.

Jun 30, 2013 · factory v8 with new holley 2bbl carb. just rolled 40k. runs smooth and has good power. interior needs some help by way of seat covers, carpet, and general cleanup. all glass good. gauges work. all seatbelts good, and they cinch down nice on a baby seat. needs repair: turn signals. the front buckets are in the glove box and the wires are there.

The tragic events in Yugoslavia stoped the intoduction of the 5 door hatchback model Florida, Facelift Yugo, 1.4 and 1.6 engines, zylinderhead with self adjusting valves to the US market.

Mar 30, 2016 · x2 1970's 500 cubic inch V8 engines were the biggest V8 engines true. The thing is they made pathetic horsepower depending in the year of that decade. Went from 400hp 1970 to 190hp in 1976 thanks to lazy american manufacturing complying to new emissions rulings.

There are many pieces of junk that we all wish we could own (who wouldn't want a Toyota Tercel with a LS V8 swap?). Just because it's well done, It doesn't mean it's not shitty.
