Yōseikan Budō (養正館武道) (originally Yoseikan-ryū Gyokushin Jujutsu) [1] is a Japanese -French martial art, created by Hiroo Mochizuki, who may be classified as a sōgō budō form (総合武道, "composite" or "comprehensive" martial art), but is used here to indicate a martial art into which various martial ways have been integrated.

Yoseikan Aikido (養正館合気道 Yoseikan Aikidō) is the aikido taught at the Yoseikan Dojo in Shizuoka, Japan, under the direction of Minoru Mochizuki (望月 稔 Mōchizuki Minoru, 1907–2003).

Yoseikan Karate (養正館空手) or Yoseikan Ryu Karate (養正館流空手) is the name given to the variant of Shotokan Karate taught at the Yoseikan Dojo in Shizuoka, Japan, under the direction of Minoru Mochizuki (望月 稔 Mōchizuki Minoru, 1907–2003).

In 1931, Minoru Mochizuki, while studying as an uchideshi at the Kodokan in Tokyo, fell ill with a pulmonary infection. His family quickly brought him home to Shizuoka City to recover. In the meantime, his brother and friends built a dojo for him in the city.

The first location of Yoseikan II Cincinnati was in the Mont Michel Apartments in Clifton from 1971-1972. One of the initial students offered their apartment as a training space and when there were too many students to train in the apartment, training moved to the clubhouse of the apartment complex.

At the end of the ‘60s in France, the discovery by Hiroo Mochizuki of the undulating movement, which leads to the optimization and multiplication of the physical force at the point of collision, provides the starting point to the development of YOSEIKAN BUDO (*).
