Aug 8, 2015 · Yezdi's are pretty simple machines and can be restored very easily, atleast here in south. We just redid completely a Jawa to factory specs through a mechanic in Mysore. If the bike is in running condition and FC is clear, just go ahead and pick it up.

Most of the mechanics do the wheel hub, engine side pannels buffing & make it shining if you give the task of complete restoration to them. just to retain the originality, i did these two tasks on my own, bit tireing & expensive, but worth it .

Try to retain the same silencer, there are people who would remove the dents from the silenser. In yezdi, silencers are the most prominent ones to give final look.

Jul 11, 2011 · I have used this bike (after restoration) for about 1200 kms and still people look at the bike with half open mouths as the thundering sound fills the roads for about quarter km radius. Not just the name but the bike is really a CLASSIC.
