Yaohan Co., Ltd. (株式会社ヤオハン, Kabushiki gaisha Yaohan) or Yaohan (ヤオハン, or 八百半); (Chinese: 八佰伴) was a Japanese retail group, founded in 1930 by Ryohei Wada (和田 良平, Wada Ryōhei) and his wife Katsu Wada [ja] (和田 カツ, Wada Katsu). [1]

Sunway Putra Mall, previously known as The Mall or Putra Place, is a shopping mall located along Jalan Putra in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is situated across the street from the Putra World Trade Centre (now WTC KL) and the Seri Pacific Hotel.

The first Yaohan store in Malaysia was opened in 1987 in The Mall, now known as Sunway Putra Mall in Kuala Lumpur. Yaohan department store offered a wide range of products from furniture to food, clothes, and accessories.

In December 2021, The Edge City & Country reported that plans are afoot to redevelop Plaza OUG into a 6-storey shopping complex, a 30-storey hotel with 312 rooms and a 41-storey serviced apartment with 361 units.
