I've played every KH title that's had her mentioned, and still, I just cannot understand why Xion exists, or why she looks the way she does. Though, tbqh, it was a little hard for me to follow the explanation for Xion in Days, and why she was created.

I think that Xion's heart left Sora when he arrived to battle alongside Axel and Kairi, but it isn't shown for dramatic purposes (I mean, otherwise the player realizes what's going on too early).
