Dec 4, 2023 · Update, I resolved the issue by copying the device (Xerox Printer Model) metadata file into DeviceMetadataCache and DeviceMetadataStore. The Xerox Print and Scan Experience checks the DeviceMetadataStore for the Xerox printer details. The file was missing, hence Xerox software doesn't know the printer is installed.

Jul 27, 2021 · I have a Xerox B215. I don't remember the password. I tried 1111, I tried the serial number, I tried all possible passwords I'd ever change it to. Nothing works. I know I can't factory reset the machine without logging in. This is a vicious cycle of hell.

Aug 26, 2022 · I also wanted to try and remove some of the bloat from this driver package because it was pretty large with both 32/64 bit drivers and a bunch of unnecessary languages. The extracted package was about 400mb from Xerox's site. I ended up installing the printer manually, then used PowerShell (Export-WindowsDriver) to export all windows drivers.
