Jan 23, 2017 · Personally, I'd keep the 3930k and less expensive X79 MB, and sell the X99 and more expensive X79 MB. I'd pair it with a ti, either the 780 or 980(IIRC, the 780ti is a better cruncher/renderer than the regular 980 cards, I could be wrong though), and as much of the fastest RAM as I can get in it.
