Apr 16, 2012 · Down_Range has a good point, the 3.8 Compact is two guns in one, with the Compact 13 round magazine it makes a great concealable weapon, and with the Full-size 19 round magazines it makes a great home defense, and/or range plinker, plus I share magazines between my 4.5 and 5.25 handguns.

Jun 15, 2009 · I am looking to put a red dot sight on my xdm 9 and was wondering if anyone has a preference for one in particular. The two I have looked at are the Trijicon one and the Burris FastFire II any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Apr 13, 2013 · Hi y'all. I have had a good bit of work done to my XDm9 with a 4.5" barrel. I need it taken to the next level...mostly to tame the recoil as MUCH as possible for fastest possible follow up shots for club competition. Anything goes so I am not concerned about "legalities".

Feb 20, 2011 · lepold came out with their Deltapoint MRD which I plan on getting for my xdm9 4.5. Nice thing about it is that it comes with 11 mounts of popular handguns with the xd/xdm being one of them. This shows how simple installation is, also the mount kinda form around the top of the slide so that the RD is as close to the slide as possible.

I first came upon a similar combo via my friend's preferences for the same blade/notch width, on his 1911s, preferring a narrow FO front for precision, with a blacked-out rear.

Feb 9, 2017 · Sell it and buy one of these. If you're careful they can be had in the $700 range (mine was less than $700), you've already got the red dot and it's a very good one (Vortex) plus all the plates for other brands or no red dot at all.

Sep 18, 2014 · This is my XDm9 4.5-inch coming off a 6-day class (OK, to be absolutely honest, I only shot it 5 out of those days, but that's close to 3,200 rounds in just that span). At that time, it'd seen about 30K rounds, total, over the course of 2 years:

Dec 27, 2019 · I've recently taken the full frame apart on my XDM9. I first put it back together following an XD guide, and while everything was working properly I found I had extra parts in the disassembly lever, spring and bar. Upon reassembling it with those parts, my grip safety is always depressed. If I remove the parts, it once again is flowing free.
