The Heckler & Koch XM8 is a lightweight assault rifle system developed from the late 1990s to early 2000s. The rifle was designed by German small arms manufacturer Heckler & Koch (H&K), and shares design and engineering with their G36 rifle.

Apr 17, 2023 · I am selling my Insight ISM-V optic. This was originally made to go with the XM-8, which ended up never being mass produced. So these are super rare and hard to find. I bought this one about 10 years ago, and have never used it on a rifle, so it is excellent working condition. It comes with the wired pressure pad switch.

Apr 13, 2024 · The kit is nearly complete, correct barrel, hand guard, lower, stock, bipod and the very rare DMAR optic. The only other ones out there close are Tom's PDW build and Larry Vickers DMR version.

Nov 18, 2004 · XM8 You guys have all seen this. The XM8 optics are now better than the G36's. The objective is now bigger and it uses a red dot reticle. It is factory zeroed and mounted to the body, so it does retain the zero if taken off and remounted. The DM comes with the 4x opitc... ...emm...not much else.

Nov 22, 2022 · For a pure red dot sight, I'd go with an Aimpoint M4s. I can say that a Sightmark FSR is too small to have that look. If you want a prism scope, a Steiner M332 or M536 has enough forward bias to be mounted on a TBT rail without issue with cheek weld and eye relief. Both are discontinued though.
