The Jaguar XJR-6 is a Group C sports prototype race car, designed, developed and built by TWR, with the aim of competing, from 1985, in the World Sportscar Championship. A total of six Jaguar XJR-6s were built and they contested in the World Sportscar Championship until 1986, before Jaguar replaced them with the Jaguar XJR-8 .

Displacing 6.2 litres, the Naturally Aspirated engine produced around 650 bhp in endurance trim.

The Jaguar XJR-6 was a prototype racecar built for the 1985 season. Other than using a similar engine, TWR's XJR-6 had little in common with the 'American' XJR-5. Tony Southgate was responsible for the design and applied many lessons learned in the abandoned Ford C100 racer.

Along with the first XJR-6, this, the second car, example debuted at the 1985 Mosport 1000 km round. Shared by Jean-Louis Schlesser, Martin Brundle and Mike Thackwell, it was driven to a very impressive third overall at its very first outing.
