If you have a Springfield XD Mod-2 45ACP 3.3" and would like a threaded barrel, please call them and ask to put on the pre-order list. They are attempting to get a minimum volume before making a production run.

Feb 10, 2009 · I use this line of holsters almost exclusively with my M9 on duty on my belt, drop leg, chest and love the holster. I intended on buying one for my soon-to-be XD-45 Compact mostly just because I already have all the platforms and it gives me an excuse to buy gear cool. However, I noticed Blackhawk only lists the XD-45, not the XD-45 Compact.

Aug 11, 2006 · A 9mm is 20% smaller in diameter than a 45acp, which means the extractor may not work. Recoil spring assemblies need to be changed, the O.D. (outside diameter) of a 9mm barrel may not be the same as the O.D. of the 45acp barrel. 9mm, 357 Sig, & 40 S&W are all shorter than the 45acp.

Feb 26, 2007 · However, now that XD has the 5" Tach 45ACP, I have one in DE and hace tried it a couple of times and so far it is giving the G21 a run for its polymer. I have the Hi Viz green front on both and both have extended mags, 13+3 (17 w/1 in the tube) for the XD and 13 + 4 (18 w/1 in the tube) for the G21.
