Z (Japanese: ゼット Zetto, English dub: /ˈzɛd/) is the antagonist of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. He was designed by Masatsugu Saito, the lead character designer of the game. Z is the master of the Consuls and the source of all Moebius, along with X and Y. Z is absolutely convinced that he is acting for the good of all humanity.

Z∞ is the final Boss of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. This is Z's true form, and is a Moebius fought at level 75 in Origin. After taking a certain amount of damage, Z∞ will split the party into two groups, forcing Noah, Lanz, and Eunie to fight X∞ and Mio, Sena, and Taion to fight Y∞.
