The Soul Tree (Japanese: ソウルツリー, sourutsurī) is a game mechanic in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It unlocks upgrades for the main characters' Ouroboros forms, unlocking and enhancing Arts and Skills innate to their Ouroboros.

The purple nodes tend to be the most efficient use of SP and the art upgrades the least efficient, but often you have to path through art upgrades to get farther down the tree.

Aug 13, 2022 · I noticed I forgot to upgrade my soul trees of the other forms. I read up on soultrees and everywhere it stated that “because points are scarce you need to choose your routes carefully”. However - does this mean you cannot max out a soul tree in one run ?
