Apr 3, 2024 · I designed a Wyze V2, V3, OG, V4 and Blink mini camera mount that can go on the outside of the tank. The mounts are 3D printed with PLA and have stainless steel hardware. The magnets used are capable of holding the camera on a tank with 1/2in thickness or less. The magnets are coated in plastic for the interior magnets making them reef safe.

Aug 8, 2023 · @Oakland Jeff I setup my brother using Wyze cam motion detection and IFTTT to trigger ISY programs through the portal. He wanted to turn on a light on his patio when the Wyze cam detected motion for better recording resolution. Works really well and simple to setup...

Jun 8, 2011 · Not sure you're setup but some of the Wyze cameras MUST be setup using the 2.4ghz wireless SSID thru both the camera and your phone, etc. Need 3 bars of strength or better on the 2.4 signal. 2 bars and below, Wyze reeeeeeally struggles If you try initial setup connected to 5ghz wifi SSID or the celltower.... in many cases it will NOT work

Aug 5, 2023 · So the alternate Wyze cam firmware that supports RTSP should do the job. However from Wyze: RTSP was considered a beta feature and we are currently assessing the path forward as the firmware versions have aged quite a bit. We have removed the firmware files for these versions for now and we’ll update the pages when plans are finalized.

Jun 30, 2023 · I ordered a Wyze OG 3x I will try and see if that give me more a focus on the tank itself and less the room, but it’s still a 1080 camera so I don’t thing the image is going to be amazing. Was going to order the Wyze V3 pro for its 2k resolution but after a ton of reviews and post it seems to be worse than the Wyze OG unless it’s night time.

Apr 10, 2023 · I do not have Home Assistant or any home automation except stock Alexa app, Yolink app and a Kasa app. I guess I will go with a Tuya button with wifi (Alexa compatible with routines) or perhaps add a cheap camera doorbell that is Wyze compatible. Nov 10, 2022 · Last month, while halfway through our vacation, my ATO container went empty and nobody had a key to the house. The only entrance would be through the garage and my husband had the “brilliant” idea to deactivate the garage door and use the metal rod to lock it closed before we left. I could watch it all happening live from the Wyze camera.
