Wu Yihui 吳翼翬 (Cantonese Ng Yik-fai) (1887 – 1958) was a Chinese martial artist and scholar. He was the first person to open teachings and spread the art of Liuhebafa in public, and was a prominent fighter and instructor who influenced many of the masters of his generation.

Grand master Wu Yi Hui represents the modern-day generation of LiuHeBaFa chuan. He taught this art to the public for the first time in the late 1930s in Shanghai and Namjing. My Master Hui Kit Wah studied with Lu Gui Yao who in turn learned from Wu Yi Hui.

Our lok hup ba fa (liu he ba fa) form comes to us from Wu, Yi-Hui to Leung, Tze-Pang to Moy, Lin-Shin. It is one of the last “closed door” internal arts systems. It is said that lok hup has the elements of tai chi, bagua and xing-yi along with its own special characteristics.

WU YI HUI: The man who introduced LHBF to the general public. One of the most famous teachers and, to some, the "founder" if not just the organizer of LHBF was Wu Yi Hui (1887-1961) a native of Tieling who migrated to Beijing where he taught many people.

Chan Yik Yan (陳亦人, Chen Yi Ren) 1909–1982 was a disciple of Liuhebafa Master Wu Yi Hui. Although Wu Yi Hui taught many students, it's only Chan Yik Yan who is known to have completed the entire Liuhebafa system.
