To disable Copilot in Microsoft Word on a Mac, open your Word document, go to File > Options > Copilot, and then uncheck the "Enable Copilot" box. I'm happy to report it works! I just double-checked in Word. I have no "File>Options".

Feb 1, 2024 · MS Word is latest version (16.81) as part of Microsoft Office 365 subscription. I know I could update my OS to Sonoma, but unless this MS Word problem is specific to Ventura - it's been working fine for months on Ventura - I'm not ready to update to Sonoma. It's a sudden change that seemed to occur without making any changes to Word or my OS.

I tried the reboot in to Safe Mode followed by Reboot. Font still missing in Word. The font files are located in /Library/Fonts directory. Any other suggestions?

Every time I save an MS Word document, I get a two-step request to grant access. Also, when I try to use the Open Recent function I get a message that I don't have access.

May 18, 2024 · I was super frustrated forever like everyone since my Mac slowed to a crawl or worse on Word only this last two weeks, however by following the process of deleting Version 16.85, and the subsequent reinstall of Version 16.84, it works perfectly again.

I am however able to follow this instruction; Now when you run your workflow it will first ask you to choose the Word documents you want to combine. Shift click or Command click to select multiple documents.
