Wolfgang is the second playable Character in Don't Starve that can be unlocked via Experience, with 320 XP, and one of the playable Characters in Don't Starve Together (). He is a simple-minded Strongman who is very boastful about his might.

Wolfgang is an affable, musclebound giant with a heart plagued by a myriad of phobias. In Don't Starve Together, all 3 of Wolfgang's stats (Health, Hunger, and Sanity) has a maximum of 200.

Jun 2, 2023 · The one and only reason I play wolfgang is for its double damage. A mighty wolfgang with the new scythe and the armor set deals 130 damage at full stack. while he can deal 136 with a dark sword that he can get early in game.

From full health, right down to death. Because Wolfgang's health pool also increases/decreases depending on hunger, it is actually beneficial to hold off on healing until he is wimpy form. For example, after combat Wolfgang is at 40% health in mighty form.

Wolfgang is unlocked after accumulating 320 XP (total of 16 days survived). Wolfgang's main gimmick is that depending on his current, his body becomes stronger or weaker, granting physical buffs or penalties that correspond.

Apr 25, 2023 · DPS (normal mechanics): Wolfgang with dark sword at 200 health > Wanda with Alarming Clock at 65 age (37.5 health). I wouldn't be so quick to make judgements, Klei might add something that makes Wanda just as good against lunar creatures. Obviously, I'm not clairvoyant, but we will see...
