Wolf Zirkus, also referred to/stylized as Wolf Circus and Wolf Zurkus, is the circus that Papi manages, and Popee and Kedamono appear in. It is located in the Dessert desert.[1] There is no wifi in the dessert desert.[2]

Popee (ポピー) is an apprentice clown in Wolf Circus and the protagonist of the show. Standing at 5'4" (165.5cm)[1], Popee has blond hair and dark blue eyes. Underneath his hat, Popee keeps his hair in two small pigtails.

Set in the middle of a desert, in a place called Wolf Circus, [3] the show follows two characters, Popee the clown, and his wolf sidekick Kedamono rehearsing their circus performances.

Kedamono (ケダモノ lit. beast) is Popee's "assistant" and a performer at Wolf Circus. He is a deuteragonist who is a constant victim to Popee's torment. Kedamono was picked up by Popee and Papi as a puppy (try saying that three times!) before joining the circus.

Magic is the first episode of Popee the Performer. It reveals Kedamono and Popee respectively. The episode begins in Wolf Circus, where Kedamono is seen inside a box with only his hands, head, and feet sticking out of it. It is then shown that Popee is trying to do a magic trick.
