Void elves (or ren'dorei, "children of the Void " in Thalassian) [4] are a race of Void-infused elves affiliated with the Alliance. Their origins lie with a group of blood elves following Magister Umbric who were exiled from Silvermoon City because of their research into the Void.

The Void Elves are not evil, but they are potentially dangerous none the less. The motivations from the Void Elves are really no different than the various Warlocks that are scattered throughout a fair majority of the mortal races.
