Winthrop Hall offers bright acoustic, ideal for choral and classical music. When used in conjunction with the Undercroft exhibition centre downstairs, Winthrop Hall makes an excellent conference venue. Built in 1932, the cathedral-like venue welcomes patrons with a marble and mosaic foyer, and vaulted ceilings.

It has played host to world-famous artists and actors, royalty, prime ministers, presidents, heads of state, as well as thousands of students and staff, and this year UWA’s majestic Winthrop Hall celebrated its 90th anniversary.

Built in 1932, Winthrop Hall is WA's most spectacular ceremonial space. Seating 974 people, the Hall has played host to many spectacular events, welcoming world-famous artists, Prime Ministers and royalty through its doors. You can read more about the Hall's history here.
