Jul 7, 2022 · Tom Crawford took over at some point in the 1970’s when Floyd Wilker retired and reduced the model lineup to a more manageable size where the 20-foot cuddy was the biggest model. Wilker also tried to cater to family recreational boaters with 15, 17, and 19-footers, some even with more modern and sleeker lines to give them more universal appeal.

Feb 24, 2009 · They are great hand laid fiberglass boats made for open lake fishing. Had a Catalina 19, now a Galaxy 17 and still looking for that 22. Wilker boats? I know a number of Wilker owners and all were satisfied. A buddy is currently running a 19 weekender and loves it!

Jul 26, 2006 · I’m looking to read some opinions on Wilker Galaxy (17 footer) or just Wilker boats. There are few in the Trader for sale and I’m interested in the specs. There’s not a lot of information on the internet so I hope someone has a Wilker or has been on one.

Jul 8, 2013 · I've had 4 Wilkers And have loved them all. I've had a galaxy 15, with a 100hp out board, a galaxy 17 with mercrusier I/O, a weekender 20, and now a tournament series 24' hardtop. They have all been great and very solid boats. They handle the water extremely well.
