So the black car heated up 65 F, the white car 56 F, only about 15% less. Most of the heat comes through the windows, not the roof or doors.

A white or silver car would probably only need waxed once or twice a year. Red and black fade in the sun. White and silver hold up to the sun’s UV rays better than red and black.

When there are not streetlights, you want to be able to be seen better by other cars at night. Also white reflects heat, therefore keeping the car cooler in hot areas and hot seasons.

Then if you have a tri-coat white the mica layer just adds to the problem. If you have problems, you can only respray a white car twice before the vin number becomes unreadable.
