The athletics program in West Haven is an integral part of the schools' educational program. Interscholastic competition provides students with physical, mental and emotional experiences, which benefit not only the individual, but also the schools and community.
District | West Haven Public Schools
The West Haven School District is comprised of nine schools. There is one high school, West Haven High School, which includes an alternative high school program. Bailey Middle School accommodates students in grades 7 and 8. Students in grades 5 and 6 attend Carrigan Intermediate School.

The West Haven Board of Education is very excited for the 2024-2025 school year, which will look different from recent years as six schools will feature a new principal.
