Sep 14, 2020 · Part of the Wendigo myth of course involves people becoming the demonic creature (sometimes possessed by an evil spirit) because they fell to cannibalism. I believe a level of warlock could have a lot of flavor there, additionally, dark ones blessing is a nice feature that fits with the theme of eating people.

Aug 23, 2020 · They’ll be ideas of how to make this work, best ways I can think storywise is the player is apart of a tribe that worships the Wendigo, so they take part in cannibalism and are rather savage, but in reality the Wendigo is Yeenoghu and tbh Gnolls are basically what you’re looking for in 5e as they’re fucking horrifying in lore atm.

If you're dead set on warlock, I would go wendigo5/warlock3 and then put however many levels you get after into wendigo As for race, anything is fine, variant human to start the game with the piercer feat would be good. Don't be a tortle because the ac boost is worthless to you.

May 10, 2021 · It feels like it can very well be flavored to be a wendigo patron though without some of the cold related stuff. It has a more necrotic theme but you can use spells like chill touch or primal savagery (pact of tome) to inflict fear effects and deal extra necrotic damage.
