Waterloo Warbirds is your premiere location for jet and Harvard flight experiences. With five different aircraft to choose from (why not do them all!?), you can experience the ride of a lifetime, pull G's like a fighter pilot, and even perform aerobatic maneuvers.

At Waterloo Warbirds, you can fly a real fighter jet from the Cold War! We currently offer four different Classic Jets to choose from: the T-33, L-29, Vampire and MiG-15, as well as our legendary WWII trainer the North American Harvard!

A marketing and communications professional by day, Krystin’s goal is to leverage those skills to give an inside look at Waterloo Warbirds to our local community and broader community of aviation enthusiasts.

C-FJRH finally returned to the air in late 2014, newly marked as a Royal Canadian Air Force jet and has become a centrepiece of the Waterloo Warbirds’ fleet. In late 2017, it was noted that the fabric covering the Vampire’s fuselage was starting to deteriorate.

Nov 8, 2024 · Our T-33 Silver Star and MiG-15 will fly over cenotaphs, cemeteries and ceremonies in Waterloo Region, Stratford, and surrounding communities. Our North American Harvard Mk. Waterloo Warbirds is dedicated to honouring men and women who have, and currently, serve Canada at home and abroad, while also inspiring a new generation of aviators by keeping historic jets flying and providing an opportunity to experience the thrill of flight in a classic aircraft.

Waterloo Warbird’s Silver Star was built in 1957 by Canadair and entered RCAF service with tail number 133577. She served with 414 Squadron, based on Vancouver Island at CFB Comox in British Columbia and later with 417 Squadron, based at Cold Lake, Alta.

Our Harvard had six different owners prior to becoming a member of the Waterloo Warbirds fleet. Our Harvard’s most recent owner, prior to it joining the team, was Blain Fowler of Alberta, who owned this aircraft for a remarkable 39 years, from 1980 to 2019!

Our L-29 is one of the favourites at Waterloo Warbirds, being very stable as well as a thrill to fly in and is an excellent aircraft for those wanting to learn about or experience flight in jet warbirds.
