de Havilland Vampire Jet (Former Aircraft) – Waterloo Warbirds
C-FJRH finally returned to the air in late 2014, newly marked as a Royal Canadian Air Force jet and has become a centrepiece of the Waterloo Warbirds’ fleet. In late 2017, it was noted that the fabric covering the Vampire’s fuselage was starting to deteriorate.
2024 Remembrance Day Flyovers – Waterloo Warbirds
Nov 8, 2024 · Our T-33 Silver Star and MiG-15 will fly over cenotaphs, cemeteries and ceremonies in Waterloo Region, Stratford, and surrounding communities. Our North American Harvard Mk. II B will fly over sites in Hespeler and Guelph. All three aircraft will be taking off from the Region of Waterloo International Airport shortly after 10:00 AM.

T-33 Mako Shark Jet Flight - Waterloo Warbirds
Waterloo Warbird’s Silver Star was built in 1957 by Canadair and entered RCAF service with tail number 133577. She served with 414 Squadron, based on Vancouver Island at CFB Comox in British Columbia and later with 417 Squadron, based at Cold Lake, Alta.
North American Harvard Mk.2 Flight – Waterloo Warbirds
Our Harvard had six different owners prior to becoming a member of the Waterloo Warbirds fleet. Our Harvard’s most recent owner, prior to it joining the team, was Blain Fowler of Alberta, who owned this aircraft for a remarkable 39 years, from 1980 to 2019!
Aero L-29 "Viper" Delfin Jet Flight – Waterloo Warbirds
Our L-29 is one of the favourites at Waterloo Warbirds, being very stable as well as a thrill to fly in and is an excellent aircraft for those wanting to learn about or experience flight in jet warbirds.
