Not likely to happen in the forseeable future, especially since NM is predicted to run out of water in a few years!

No problem for a few years after the install but a very cold snap this winter resulted in two water meters (which is 5%) in the neighborhood to freeze. There were no water meter freezes in maybe 35 years previous to the RF meter read install where the inner lid sat flush like it was supposed to.
