I come from Miatas and Minis (and still have an NB Miata for track use); the WRX was a bit of a learning curve but let me just say this: THIS CAR IS UNDENIABLY FAST. My WRX has a Grimmspeed panel filter, a Remark resonated catback, and generally run on RE71RS tires. That’s it. No suspension upgrades, stock brake pads, no tune. Nothing.

Spare tire | Subaru WRX Forums
Sep 20, 2024 · Congrats on the new WRX TR! It’s a bit of a bummer about the spare tire situation. It sounds like you’re on the right track with ordering a spare from Modern Spare. For the foam, since the parts guy mentioned that it wouldn’t fit, you might want to check online forums or WRX community groups.
For those that hopped on tuning early for the VB WRX how has
If you want a wrx, shell out the money and get an STI. Otherwise, don't bother with the platform. The BRZ/86 are substantially better cars in comparison and I think that's the route you should go. Start at three bottom and work your way to a c8 vette. The BRZ/86 will teach you more about driving than the wrx ever could. I promise you won't ...
Question regarding 2022 WRX and fuel type : r/WRX - Reddit
May 24, 2022 · This pretty much seals the deal for me, I was going back and forth and kinda fell off the wrx train in favor of the mk8 gti being a hatch rated at 87 with better fuel economy, but after looking into the GTI's reliability track record (hint: it ain't great) and finding out 87 can be run in the wrx just fine (at reduced performance), I'd much ...
For those curious how the VA and VB stack up : r/WRX - Reddit
Edit: of course, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that C&D's original test of the 2015 WRX cites a 100 mph trap speed (prior to all the reflashes from Subaru due to knock concerns). At the end of the day, the VB improves on the VA by a small bit in every way, and you either like its looks and the big center touch screen, or you don't.
What is the expectd life span of a WRX? - NASIOC
Oct 12, 2017 · Sorry if this is discussed elsewhere but I did not find it. I am looking at buying a new 2018 WRX, I am new to Subaru but build quality appears to be good and resale is pretty high. The thing is, the ads for used WRX that I see don't …

2024 Subaru WRX TR | This is a Good One : r/cars - Reddit
Mar 8, 2024 · The WRX engine was significantly more responsive in the low end thanks to the larger 2.4L, had much better ride quality, a better interior, fantastic visibility, and the clutch wasn't a vague pain in the ass that caused me to stall more times in one day in the GR than the entire year I've owned the WRX.
