Oct 25, 2019 · Have a chance to pick up a somewhat clean 97 WR250Z. I've read that the engine has a lot of power on tap. I am a forest trail rider and sometimes ride ST. What can I do to make the engine power more linear ? Also read that the suspension needs help. I'm 190 w/o gear.

Mar 28, 2023 · He suggested I try to get a 1997 cylinder to replace the current one so the power valve cover can fit properly. I am naive to the WR and understand it is more or less a YZ motor with the wide ratio transmission. Is this a normal set up for the current cylinder and motor? I’m not sure what is original and what has been added on.
