The Umbra, also called the Spirit World, the Shadow, or the Velvet Shadow, is a realm existing alongside and yet separate from the material world. umbra: Latin: shadow. A complete shadow (as of the Moon) within which the source of light (the Sun) is totally hidden from view.

The Underworld, also known as the Dark Umbra or the Contrarium, is the domain of the dead and memories in the World of Darkness. The Underworld is divided into several areas: the Shadowlands, Dark Kingdoms, the Tempest, the Labyrinth, the Abyss and Oblivion.

A Realm is any location in the Umbra that has a consistent identity and form. Some Realms are small and temporary, such as the Paradox Realms that may swallow a mage to isolate them from the Consensus, while other Realms such as the Spirit Wilds are old and well-defined.

This is correct: Mages can go into the Umbra, and they just call it the Umbra, though typically they spend their time in the High Umbra, where the more conceptual spirits reside. Additionally, this is what the Void Engineers do.
