Nov 15, 2023 · The issue is with the WLED integration into HA. They intentionally disabled RGBCCT because results were inconsistent. However there’s a workaround where you can go into WLED settings, LED prefs, check the “calculate cct from rgb” box, reboot WLED and add the integration in HA.

As of v0.13.1, WLED supports single color, CCT, RGB, RGBW and RGBCCT strips. These strips are commonly found at 12 or 24 volts. The default PWM frequency for dimming is 880 Hz on ESP8266 and 19531 Hz for ESP32.

Jul 9, 2023 · Technically it will work with WLED, but most of the advanced features, animations, etc will be overkill. Since HA doesn't play nicely with WLED's implementation of CCT controls, I usually opt for Tasmota or ESPHome for CCT PWM strips.

Jun 8, 2020 · I am thinking about making a lamp with one addressable RGB(W?) strip and one CCT strip. Does WLED support this kind of setup? It would mean driving two analog channels for warm and cold white of CCT and addressable RGB and maybe W. Those two 'modes' will not have to run at the same time.

You can also configure the board with multiple white strips for instance, for WLED each will be treated as it’s own pixel but you can use segments to control them each individually. You can setup 3x white or 2x CCT (dual white) on the An-Penta-Mini.
