The "WB" text and border of the shield is now colored gold, the banner is colored reddish-brown and the inside of the shield is colored blue. An alternative live-action model shield was used in tandem from 1953 to 1956 for movies that were shot using the three-dimensional, or stereoscopic, film process such as House of Wax.

The top part of the shield shows a picture of the Warner studio in Burbank CA, the bottom having a squashed, stylized "WB". "A WARNER BROTHERS" is above the shield (with "WARNER BROTHERS" in an arc around the shield, a la the first Columbia logo), with "CLASSIC of the SCREEN" below. Starting in 1926 or so, it changed to "PRODUCTION".
